Final Presentation- Music To Your Ears

Hi, and welcome to my presentation where I will share what I've learned over the past 8 weeks. During my WInter term here at Global Citizenship Experience Lab School, I've participated in a course called Light, Sound and Time. In the course, we discovered how humans perceived sound and how other organisms do also. We researched ear structures and learn about the anatomy of the ear. Over time in our investigation, we lent toward music and different frequencies of the pitch. This brings me to another course I took which was my Independent Study, Music Theory. During the duration of studies with the help of my Teacher Adam. I went over the basics of staff reading, music notation and learned some chords on the guitar.

For this Final Presentation, I wanted to see how music can impact others and how much of that impact can spread peace and love. Music has been around for a long time. We use it at gatherings, celebrations, and even at protest. An Example of this is, Michael Jackson’s “We Are the World”, in 1985 it raised over $63 million (equivalent to $147 million today) for humanitarian aid in Africa and the US.

Another popular song that stood for a cause was called. "F**k the Police". This song was a protest song by N.W.A in 1988 and it was written shortly after the group was harassed by the Torrance Police Department. The lyrics protest police brutality and racial profiling in the song. Since its release in 1988, the "F**k da Police" slogan continues to influence pop culture today in the form of T-shirts, artwork, political expression and has transitioned into other genres as well.

Below are links to the two songs I referred to.

As you can see music has a big impact on one another and the world. I would like to share a video of me playing the guitar, but I don’t know if I can. So instead I’ll just post somethings I did in my Independent Study that can relate.

These are some of the things that I have gone over during my course. Some things were easier than the other but I enjoyed it overall. Connecting back to Light, Sound, and Time, the reason we can hear sound is because of the sound waves in the air that vibrate at different Hz. The sound goes through the ear canal, and eardrum then sends a signal to the brain.

How Stuff Works.
Back to the music context. I have always had a love for sounds. Every since I was a baby, I would always hit pots and pans or at school make a rhythm on the table. It’s just something that lets me feel free and in control. That’s why I believe music can change and impact the world for the better. Starting after listening to this I challenge you to think about something that you find unjust or unfair and make a quick song about it. Record how you feel after you share it with others and how it impacted them to test my hypotheses. Also, consider playing an instrument or sing, it can be beneficial to your creativity and health.

Seaons Clock

For my final AP in my STEAM class, Light, Sound, and Time we looked into many concepts such as sundials, sextants, longitude, and latitude and ancestors of time devices. We also were challenged to read a book called Einstein’s Dreams and presented to our class some basic and complex ideas about time discussed in the chapter. We dove into learning about different time zones and time paradoxes in space-time too. But for this final assignment, we were tasked to do research on a couple of time-telling devices, then after finding some to try and take inspiration from it and make your own. During this last unit of the course, my peers visited the Adler Planetarium and we also planned to host guests form a University to help us gain a deeper understanding of the subject matter. Personally, I found this course fun and challenging at the same time I have taken in a lot of information and it will definitely help me in impacting my future. Below is my presentation, enjoy.

J.L- (2020)
In conclusion, I really liked the project. It was great to get in this creative mindset and make something that hasn't been made. The drawback that I take from this is the amount of time I had to complete it. If I had more time it would be more clear and thorough. Also, I would have loved to create a prototype.

JJ's Diddley Bow

During our STEAM course Light, Sound and TIme, we went over sound as our seconded unit of the course and focused on how humans perceived sound and how other animals do also. We researched ear structures and learn about the anatomy of the ear. Learning about the ear helped me understand more as to why I can’t hear certain sounds that my dog maybe can. Over time in our investigation, we lent toward music and different frequencies of the pitch.

Recently for a Field Experience, our teacher’s close friend performed a sound bath for us. A sound bath is a meditative experience where sound waves are produced by various instruments and human voices. This was really unique and when she moved around the room with the gong I could hear the Doppler effect taken place. As we dug heavily into our calculations and equations we were given the task to create a diddley bow. A diddley bow is a single-stringed guitar-like instrument. Yet its played with a piece of steel or a glass bottle to give a bluesy type sound. Heres my diddley bow below hope you enjoy.

Heres a video I recorded of yourself playing my DiddleyBow

My diddley bow makes sound by the string that I have screwed into the wood. The string I have on my bow is the g string, its vibration rings throughout the air creating a frequency that goes through my soundhole and is amplified so I can hear. The bridge and nut create tension and support on my device. I also added a thick rubber band to help create more tension.

Important Terms
Key scientific principles such as sound waves, wavelength, frequency, and amplitude.
Sound Waves- A wave of compression that goes through the air.
Wavelength - The distance between successive crests of a wave
Frequency- The rate at which something is repeated over a particular period of time
Amplitude- The maximum peak of raise the volume

My first 4 harmonics and their approximate wavelength and frequency/pitch
Waves and Frequency Calculations (2020)

3rd harmonic wavelength- 0.017

4th harmonic frequency- 0.051

4 harmonic wavelength- 0.207

My data on the string gauge
String thickness- 0.18/1000th in
Sting Length- 24/1000th in

JL-2020

JL-2020
Calculations
Height of small piece of wood- 3in

What Can Art Do?

For my course Rhetoric, I was challenged with the task to use art to express an issue.
This course has gone on for about 1 month and we looked at a few examples of how powerful art came to influence people. Going back in time colonists in the 13 colonies used images of all sorts to bring others together to revolt against Great Britain. They were successful in conveying a message to give people to interpret in there own ways. This plays a role in our world today a lot in protest against certain agendas. During one of our FEs, we actually visited a monument made of clay for Dr. MLK showing how segregation was a problem but some didn’t wanna face it. The course was made basically to get what you want no matter bad or good. The outcome is what we focus on. So without further ado, I present my art piece.

J.L 2019

Artist Statement

My name J.L, and in this art piece I decided to make this on an experience that affected me. So I picked racial profiling. I chose this topic because it's something that happens to me and family members often by police officers. In the artwork, I decided to go simple so I can better explain it. The scenery takes place on the south side of Chicago at sunset. There’s a foreground of apartments, small businesses, and liquor stores. The main focus is a police car racing down a one-way street were two black kids happen to be crossing while passing a ball. This is conveying how the system is nonfunctional and why it needs to change. I also added a caption on the side of the car saying, "see them". Mostly because that's their reaction seeing a black male. Then in my imagination by portraying a revolt against the police I adding a monster truck to run over the police car. This in my mind demonstrates a strike back against it. I wanted to show something.

I believe that by looking at this people will shake their heads for a sec like dang this still going on. People that are black should care the most because this is a tactic used to keep us down and under self-conscious mind control. The power over my image reflects sadness, rage, and anger. Racially profiling has always been a problem though it occurs every day, in cities and towns across the country, when law enforcement and private security target people of color for humiliating and often frightening detentions, interrogations, and searches without evidence of criminal activity and based on perceived race. This is not only affecting blacks but many other minority groups as well. Most of the time in stop and search about 85 percent of the time people don’t have anything. Could you imagine, just to be stopped searched and harassed based on an assumption that society makes of your ethnic group? Crazy right. I myself have been stopped and searched 12 times this entire year. It takes a toll on me mentally and sometimes I don't even go outside to prevent any altercations.

For my art piece, I chose to draw on a big thick piece of a poster so I could color and express myself the way I felt best. Most of my materials included a drawing pencil, markers, and color pencils. This piece was rushed, I didn't take my time to add details. Art takes time to develop it’s a process that I have to learn to be more patient. My message is getting across by displaying younger kids and stepping into their shoes for a moment in time feeling that uncertainty of what's gonna happen next. I mostly tried to portray emotions in this by adding children because they are so fragile and innocent. Ethos was on the top of my list Logos came in next by showing how racial profiling should stop because it is wrong. My artwork for this project would be effective if it was posted around Chicago near schools and police stations. I feel like the more eyes and attention on a particular subject the more things get done. Also if the youth can see something that impacts everyone they will do things to make a change because they are the future.

Rusty Supreme: Bike Design

Over the course of three weeks in my class Design and Engineering, we have been learning all about bikes and why they are important for people all over the world. We went to two bike shops, Working Bikes, and Earth Rider. There I discovered that in some countries bikes are a necessity and without them, people couldn't survive or make money. This term itself went pretty fast but I was able to obtain some knowledge. We found out that designing a bike is a difficult challenge. We first looked at examples of how to sketch ideas and then catered towards an audience for the bike. Random groups were chosen and we were given a person to design a bike based to fit them. The process was quite a struggle but we got through it. Here's a slideshow below with some further background info.

Persona: A 12-year-old boy from a small town rides his bike to and from school. His commute isn't that
far. The only problems he faces is riding down narrow streets and carrying his bike up and downstairs.
Since he lives in a populated tourist attraction he worries about people doing things to his bike.

Need: For the average rider to and from school. Lightweight but strong going to support rider on a rough surface.

Benefit: Easy access transporting, Less risk of vandalism, easy carrying up and down the stairs, Inward handlebars so he won't bump anybody.

Reason to believe: The process to design the bike took over a month and concluded many trial and error experiments. We did a lot of research and made adjustments based on personal fits

In conclusion, the Rusty Supreme design sparked off the idea that it already looked like a piece of scrap. The process that went into designing the bike was pretty challenging since I was paired with someone who had completely different views. Things that ultimately went well was our brainstorming of ideas and are concentration on what would work and what wouldn't. I feel this project was rushed and we needed a bit more time. From the project, I would take away that communication is important without it you are in trouble.

Impacting Designs For All!

In my Design and Engineering course, we have been learning how to be empathetic towards people with difficulties. Some examples include the elderly, people with disabilities and overall just making something even more effective. In our class, we were put to the task of being paired with a partner and challenged to pick a tool that we could possibly make better. We decided to choose a transfer shovel. It was simple but a cool tool too. Now we decided to make the shovel more comfortable towards people with back problems and also more natural at the same time. Brainstorming this design was pretty easy we just had to put ourselves in other people's shoes. Below is our design, enjoy!

Our research process for this project came from thinking outside the box mostly. We also did quite a bit of online research on elderly people and how gardening helps them feel better. It can be a coping mechanism to pass the time so we wanted to bring all those memories back by making a product that suits their needs. A setback that we faced was deciding on the size of the shovel itself. Since everyone is built a different way the tool may not be comfortable to someone really tall or short. So we added an extendable attachment to fit each individual consumer of our product.

Other shovels can't compare to the Transformer Shovel because we took multiple viewpoints and positions to make it. We considered people with disabilities, and also people who are getting to that older stage of life. Our product is safe and also very versatile, its blade can turn 360°. Our design provides extra grip comfort and wrist strap support. This stabilizes the use of the product and makes it even more effective. Our handle is contoured to the user's palm and fits almost perfectly. Also, our product is made out of the lightest and most durable wood, redwood.

The Transformer shovel has a simple machine of a lever. The shovel becomes a lever when you move out of the dirt. The resistance is the dirt on the head of the shovel, the end of the handle is the fulcrum, and the hand near the center is the effort. Also, the shovel is kinda making a seesaw motion as you go up and down.

Overall this project was used to make us think more broadly and engage more than one opinion when it comes to making and designing something. This wasn't a difficult task to complete but was challenging when trying to make something new off the top of our heads in little time. We eventually decided on a prototype and went with it, now I kind of want to make this revolutionary shovel.

Control your Breathing.

For my second unit in our STEAM class Cure, we learned about different treatments and medicines. We studied how different drugs affect the body and how the body can handle things.
We went to the International Museum of Surgical Science for a Fe. There we looked at the history of the medical field before groundbreaking medical improvements and advancements.
On one of our FE's, we did a miracle berry lab. I wasn't here on that day but did the lab at home. In the lab, I had to take a miracle berry and try it out with different foods. The results were pretty cool and interesting since everything I tasted was sweet. The berry worked a lot better than I thought they would, and it was amazing to experience that feeling. At first, I thought it wasn't gonna work but it did.

In this action project, we had to choose a symptom to study. I chose shortness of breath/wheezing.
We then had to research three treatments for the symptom, prescription, over the counter, and one home remedy. I chose Dulera, Primatene Mist, and Steam treatments. We then had to create a medicine box to show our research and show if we understand how it worked. We also had to create drug facts for each of the treatments and make a comparison of the three. This project was a little challenging for me but I overcame and prevailed. So without further or do here's my medicine box.

Lock and key method for my box would be the reliving of stress on the lungs and chest. From the medicines listed and one treatment, they all block out pain receptors and allow your body to adjust as needed. They allow your body to keep damaged cells from making and releasing prostaglandin. When the cells don't release this chemical, it means that the brain won't get the pain message as fast. So when the pain goes away you still may have it, the brain just won't register it.

Sustainable Designs

Over the last couple of weeks I have been in a class called Biomimicry here at G.C.E . In this class I have learned how to mimic other species and I have truly learned that everything is connected in some way. From my experience in this class i'm using a these new Ideas to create something sustainable for humans that we can use for the future. In this course we had different people from business that rely on biomimicry come to our school. At our school they provide examples of some things that were miciced, and we made models. I enjoyed being creative and also while learning something new. I hope you like this presentation.

Creation Inspired by Nature

In the first unit of our term S.T.E.A.M. class Biomimicry, we looked at plants for our creation that can help humans in someway. We also took a class trip to the Lincoln Park Conservatory where we got to see many species of plants that were very unique in their own way. We also went to Interface which is a carpet company, there we learned how their design of tiles helped the world. I’m choosing to make an Eco efficient mop that uses less materials and that is cheap, and reusable. For this action project, we have to connect the Sustainable Development Goals to our creation or model. I like my design of this amazing mop. It's so good that now I wanna actually make it. Well I think that's it hope you enjoy.

Creative Writing

Day One: Egg Stage

Today my day went by pretty slow and it was kinda getting boring. In the morning I got to go to the gym which was good for exercise and to get better at things that I need to work on in class on and off the court. I had a good breakfast and was very energized. Then again at lunch me and Pablo got to play Fortnite I came second and lost. And that's about it for my day.

1. Describe where you were when you stared writing this piece & what was on your mind?
When I wrote this I was in school at the time, and I was in the T room for Writers Tool Box.
What was on my mind was that I was thinking about how my day went. I talked about my morning and evening up to the point it was time to then leave. On that day I was very tired and bored. Mostly because we didn't do anything interesting and sort of got a head ache from all the talking.

2. What kind of sentences did you use? Are theses other patterns you notice?
I used mostly simple sentences and one compound sentence I think.
The patterns that I notice is that I counties to talk about one subject throughout. That subject was me and how my day went. I discussed simple things and I wasn't very in detail about my whole day.

3. What themes do you notice in this piece?
The themes that I notice is that I talked about how my day went. An example of this is when I said "Today my day went by pretty slow and it was kinda getting boring." This was very simple and at the time the most easiest thing I could have wrote about.

4. What were your intentions for this piece?
My intentions for this piece was to but straight forward and simple as possible. I choose to do this because on that day was very very tired and wanted to uplift some stress that was on my mind. If only I wasn't so tired I would have wrote a lot more, and would have went in further detail. I also intended to be plan and me.

Day Two: Caterpillar Stage

What does your Caterpillar need?  Choose one of the revisions.

a.Food / Is the poem to short? Try beefing it up. Add at least 5 new lines.

On the day of September 5, 2018 I was sitting in a very uncomfortable chair, the room was hot. The class although was pretty great. We didn't do much but had long discussions. On this rather simple day I had been very sleepy and felt overwhelmed by the amount of work that I was given. I don't know why I was sleepy, but maybe it was just the weather. My morning went well. I got to play in the gym next door with my brother Nakiya'h and Pablo. The best part is that I had won all the games that we had played, and even bragged about it. The gym was great exercise and then again I think made me sleepy. I later left the gym and started to work on my class work. The breakfast I ate before this was pancakes bacon and eggs. It was very delicious and made me full. Towards the end of the day around lunch time me and Pablo got to play Fortnite; I had came in second and lost but I think he won. Then after that it was off to class, and it went by so slow that I felt like jumping out of the window. Okay maybe not that slow but you get the point. On this day I think it was the first day that teachers were cooking, and the smell of there food stinked. It turned out that it wasn't that bad after all. The rest of the day was very chill and calm. If I could change the day and how it went it would be super sunny and warm. I would arrive to school in a Lamborghini and give money to people on the way to school. This would be flexing and be sharing a good deed with others at the same time.

Day Three: Chrysalis stage

1. On this day I sat with my partner A.l and we discussed that I had some grammar issues and run on sentences.
2. On my partners project she decided to draw a picture on how she felt. I just gave her some tips like draw light with the pencil and, make sure you plan what you draw a day before.

Never Trust a Snake

The second unit of this class was pretty simple and chill. We first began to look at fables and asking the question of why do we make stories. The class came to a conclusion that we make stories to teach a lesson. These lessons were made to instill in to young children not to do bad but to do good. We also started to read some famous stories like The Hare and the Tortoise and some Panchatantra fables. I really enjoyed this process since I remember most of the stories, and I got to go into further depth of them. Also, fables bring joy by storytelling to little kids and adults. But I think the hardest task for me would be finding symbolism. In this unit, we got to talk about the reasons behind somethings are morals and what we believe as an individual. What I believe in is that you shouldn't trust everyone. I believe you should be aware of the people in your surrounds and to be focused on you. Anyway, here is my story. Enjoy!

Never Trust a Snake

Once upon a time ,there was a happy joyful, fat bellied pig named Charlotte. Charlotte was a wild pig who lived in the dense forest of the Amazon and loved it there. He was the only piglet that survived in his litter, and his parents had left him to be an adult at the age of 18. Charlotte was a smart but foolish pig. He would stick his head into beehives, light dry hay stacks on fire and even drink out of the deadly alligator pound. In the forest, he would spend most of his days looking for other animals to play with and have a good time with. Since living in such a populated area, Charlotte could find all sorts of animal friends. There were snakes, jaguars, monkeys, toucans, frogs, butterflies, and even mice. But knowing this piggy, he didn't want any ordinary friends; they had to be able to play an instrument since he loved music. Charlotte's favorite instrument was the guitar. The guitar was a symbol of peace in his eyes. It brought him pleasure, and happiness all in one. The guitar was an outlet for him; it allowed him to express himself more than imaginable. One day he heard that the monkeys of the town were going to make a town blues festival, and needed volunteers to play each instrument.

On the next day, Charlotte went to sign up for the festival. It was packed with new and old faces. What stood out to him the most was that no one had signed up to play the guitar, so he urgently ran over to the sheet while all most bumping into a weird looking fox. But before Charlotte even touched the fox he swiftly turned around, and caught the pig before he fell. Charlotte quickly said, “Sorry bro, I didn't see you there.” He then began to introduce himself. “Hi my name is Charlotte what’s yours?”
“My name is Clay and I live down the road before the Jaguar’s house.” The sly fox actually lived behind Charlotte and continued with his lie. “Okay……..Clay uhh that's a funny name for a fox,” said Charlotte.“So what brings you here?”

“Well, I have an actual band. But we all did not agree to perform at are concert so me and my partner Slither the Snake decided to come here and rock on.”

Charlotte was very excited he made a new friend. And was ready to continue his day. But before Charlotte could even say bye to Clay, he pulled him by the arm to his partner Slither. Slither was not so happy to see a pig in the Amazon because most either trampled snakes to death or ate all the food. They talked to each other, but also and in an instant, became like best friends. But fake friends.

So since the festival was the next day, they decided to meet over Clay’s house and practice. Clay played the drums, Slither played the maraca, and Charlotte played the guitar like no other. They jammed with each other for about two hours and got bored. But Slither then came up with an evil idea to prank Charlotte into thinking he could fly. So before the festival, both Clay and Slither convinced Charlotte that jumping off the majestic waterfall would make him the best guitar player in the world and he would be able to fly.The pig decided to take their words since he trusted them like brothers even though they met yesterday. Thus they traveled to the huge waterfalls and starting chanting, “Jump, jump, jump. It will make you better. "You will fly.” Charlotte then slowly played an old blues tune walking backwards and jumped off. At that moment, there was one lost piggy, and no one ever heard of him again. He had vanished in the rapid paced waves and disappeared.

Moral of the story never believe everything people say to you to be true.

Reflection

From this AP, I have learn to make a fable, and deconstruct character traits to make a good story. Overall, I enjoyed the creative process while trying to come up with a plot. I think this has made me a little better at thinking outside the box. Also my writing is steadily getting better from last year and that's great. My moral of this story was to never trust a snake or anyone for that matter. This has been an issue for me growing up, but it will always stick to me. I hope for Unit 3, we began to look at ancient writing or different style's of writing stories. My experience in the class so far has been great ,and I think it can only go up from there.

How We Came To Be

Over my first course in Stories we had went over ways to create a picture with our words basically. We started off by making observations around us and making a story out of that. We used similes, metaphors ,adverbs and adjectives. This I think brought out the writer in me and made me create my own perspective of how I think life came to be. But honestly the only people who do know are dead. The purpose of this a.p was to learn how to come up with are own etiology story and make others that read it feel what we are saying. My process for completing this project started of at a slow pace and began to speed up as I saw we only had one more day to finish. Etiology is a story how something came to be or the origin of something. In this case my story is on the topic of earth and how it came to be.

Long before any man or creature to roam the Earth ,there was an ancient alien king who created the universe. The king was bored one century and couldn't quite put his finger on what he wanted. In his time off he would kick asteroids ,through the universe causing meteor showers and the sun to burst into an explosion. At that point, an amazing idea sparked in his head. Create a world with inhabants to see how long they could survive. So he grabbed his magical sword and floated out through the galaxy to find a perfect sphere shaped rock as round as a basketball. When the king found the rock, he laughed foolishly at his idea, but proceeded to strike the rock. When striking the rock he created a mist of ideas and anything that he was thinking was now put onto this planet. It created all sorts of animals and other aliens. It also created lava rivers, gigantic futuristic skyscrapers and a dome over the planet to control the temperature. In time, this planet took a total of ten seconds to create, which is rather fast. The king forgot to think of oxygen since he didn’t breath because he was immortal. The planet itself looking from space appeared like a furious ball of fire, and anything near it would disintegrate. On the planet, it's very chaotic there's hell everywhere and almost rarely any peace”. After the king finished the mist over the planet, he decided to name it Zarth. Planet Zarth has huge blistering lava rivers and oceans across the entire world. These lava rivers are like volcanoes that spit up there lunch. They give the aliens living there hope. They stand for the purpose of a new creation. The air dense like a blanket that covers and hold you tight as if it would never let go. Here on Zarth the wind is always cruelly blowing and there is no day only night. When the skyscrapers lights beam they sparkle like a chandelier hanging from the ceiling and make the world look beautiful for a moment. So as Zarth was named the inhabants fell drastically from the sky and fell into the lava river creating huge muscular creatures who could inherit their own superpowers. They would go on to explore there new world like sheep in a herd. And so they did.

The alien creatures named themselves the Zartos and became stronger as they grew in number. With this in mind, they took over most to all the animals habitats and conquered like an Empire. There were three powers that you could gain at birth and that would be super strength, lighting fast speed and the ability to fly. These powers were gained through the lava as you drink it. The lava wasn’t hot to them and didn't burn their skin. They mostly used their powers to kill or cause mischievous mayhem. The air itself in the environment is poison to any other alien to enter the atmosphere. This causes the aliens to wear nose pieces that provide oxygen. The nose pieces were painfully placed on at birth, and left a dreadful scar under the lip. One distinguishing feature of Zarth is that no one can die unless they truly wanted to. if an alien did, the alien would be called an outcast only to come back reincarnated as an animal. The Zartos always had war on their planet, and they were very destructive in their actions. They would fly super colossal space crafts and drop nuclear bombs on each other.Zortos would destroy land and party after battling. This would cause The Ancient Alien King to get wrathful and cause disastrous storms that ripped the skyscrapers down, tore out business and blew inhabitants off the face of the planet Zarth. So the Alien King had failed in his first attempt in making a world, and the aliens on Zarth only lasted for about 100 years.

After that trial, The King wanted to create a opposite of Zarth. Furthermore he flipped the named Zarth to Earth changed the environment from hell to peaceful, and turned the lava into hard rock that would take place as a home for his new creation. The king wanted a foreshadowing tone to this new planet as if there were flowers everywhere, trees, lakes and streams but made out of something simple and pure. So he created water and that's how life began to evolve. Then, as water came along he added, land broken into sections on earth and created humans out of the water. Furthermore Humans became strong and started to speak like birds chirping in the tree and became the omega of the land. These humans depended on food unlike the anilens so the king made animals to eat. He made humongous gardens all over the world and left humans to be. This new world was very majestically, so pleasant and quiet. Something like a beautiful sunset over the horizon with favorable colored birds gliding swiftly through the air. The humans never fight here there's no chaos, and everything is perfect like the alien king wanted. To be continued.

Reflection
In the end of this project it was very tuff for me to come up of how something came to be. I never made a story like this before and had to think outside the box. Overall from this AP I have learned a lot and how to improvise. I think I did well making a picture that I wanted my readers to see. I struggle with grammar, and where to place certain adjectives and metaphors in certain places. Also I struggled with using Blogger for the first time and it was very frustrating. If I had to do this again I would take my time and also think faster so I could get done and have my teacher revise it. I am also not that fast at typing so it was hard to try and keep up with my classmates. This ap has taught me how to look at things in a different perspective and not to judge.
